Stocks are terrible??

You know, I saw a youtube video last night, from a guy talking about how not to buy stocks. Now I have no clue what this guy was thinking, but stocks are a great way to invest your hard earned money. This man was trying to say you make nothing from stocks, considering taxes taken out. Still why would you not want your money to work for you? Even if it is little to no money. I think this guy needs to get on with his life. He must of lost terribly in the game of the stock market, because this foolish act he posed only hurt his rep, and pride a little more.
